WTC Kochi partnered for the 11th edition of C0C0N which is the annual cybersecurity conference held by the Kerala Police. This was conducted from 5th to 6th October 2018 at the Grand Hyatt, Kochi. The event was organized by Kerala Police Cyberdome and other Partners – Information Security & Research Association (ISRA), ISACA, Kerala State IT Mission and other agencies. The event was preceded by workshops on various cybersecurity-related topics. Dr Gulshan Rai, Chief Information Security Officer, Prime Minister’s Office; Ambassador Adam Blackwell, Chair, Meta-Council on the Illicit Economy, World Economic Forum and Mr Jay Bavisi, President and Chief Executive Officer, EC – Council were the keynote speakers. Other speakers included Ms Betsy Broder, Counsel, International Consumer Protection, USA; Mr M.Shivashankar IAS, Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of Kerala. There were about 120 speakers for the event which was attended by 1000 plus delegates. The valedictory function was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary of Kerala Mr Tom Jose IAS and the session also had Malayalam actor Mohanlal as the Chief Guest.
