In a joint session with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry), World Trade Center Kochi organised an interactive session with the Investment promotion body of Queensland, Trade and Investment Queensland Australia. The programme happened at Hotel Olive Downtown, Kadavanthara, Kochi on 1 st March 2018 (Thursday). Mr.Gitesh Agarwal, Trade & Investment Commissioner – India, Queensland spoke in general of Queensland, the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Australia etc.He touched upon the industries in the State and the connections India could strike with Queensland. Mr.Githesh also explained the concept of TRADE 2018, its mission and the various stakeholders associated with the mega event. Mr.Sudeep Nambiar, Director Business Development – South Asia, Queensland, did a presentation on Endless Opportunities Queensland and development of Trade & Investment between Queensland & India on the various Sectors. Both the speakers interacted with the participants and also engaged in B2B meetings after the main session. Earlier Mr.Deepak Aswani, Co-Chair FICCI delivered the welcome address and Mr.Vivek George, Sr.Coordinator, WTC Kochi made the concluding remarks.
