A talk on "Age of Cyber Intelligence" was organised by World Trade Center Kochi on 2nd Aug 2018. Mr Suresh Srinivasan, Executive Director, Risk Advisory Services of Ernst and Young LLP was the speaker. The session was organised to create more awareness among companies in Kerala on the benefits of Cyber Intelligence and how it can be put into use in their organisation. CII Kerala was a Partner and the programme was held at CII Office, Mardu, Ernakulam. Mr Suresh Srinivasan touched upon the evolution of Cyber Intelligence and gave some recent cases of the cybersecurity breach. He spoke about the aspects to be considered when opting for a network security cover and touched upon the modules of cyber intelligence. During his talk, he mentioned the latest Intelligence gathering tools and techniques to combat all kinds of data breaches. He also differentiated between conventional intelligence and pre-emptive intelligence and how it can be used to respond to incidents. Mr Vivek George, Deputy Manager, WTC delivered the welcome address and introduced the speaker. Ms Siny Skaria of CII Kerala proposed the vote of thanks. The event was attended by delegates from various Companies in and around Ernakulam. There was representation from Exporting firms, Financial Institutions, Cyber Security professionals, Manufacturing and Processing industries, IT, Builders and from B schools.
