The World Trade Center Kochi organized a panel discussion on “Empowering Women at Work” at the WTC Cafeteria. The panellists were - Ms. Preethi Gopalakrishnan, Asst. Director – Talent, EY Global Delivery Services; Ms. Rthika Menon, Lead HR BSE, UST Global; Ms. Suchitra Menon, Director & CEO, W.F.B. Baird & Company India; Ms. Rajasree Shenoy, HR Head, Tata Consultancy Services, Kochi. The session was moderated by Mr. Anish Aravind, Co-Founder & Principal Consultant, SS Consulting. The discussion covered various aspects on Women empowerment at work like – Gender diversity in corporate board rooms, hiring quality, Roles of women in organized and unorganized sector, inhibitory and low risk taking tendency, cultural and social aspects, statutory and societal aspects, Empowerment in organizations, Individual and personal empowerment, Organizations’ design of their processes for their journey towards Women empowerment, Empowerment impact on the brand etc. The panellists also shared the best practices in their respective organizations. Ms. Manjusha Devi, Head (IT Services), Nittagelatin presented mementos to Ms. Suchitra Menon and Ms. Rajasree Shenoy; Mr. Rajeev K, Manager, CBRE presented the mementos to Ms. Preethi Gopalakrishnan and Ms. Rthika Menon; Ms Shimil Gireesh, Manager – Facilities, Xerox Technology Services India gave away the memento to Mr. Anish Aravind. Earlier Mr. Vivek George, Deputy Manager, WTC Kochi delivered the welcome address. Mr. Sandeep Raj, Coordinator, WTC Kochi proposed the vote of thanks.
