The World Trade Center Kochi in association with The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI) and KPMG India organised a full day Seminar as titled above in Ernakulam on 9 th June 2017. The Seminar was held at Taj Gateway Hotel,Marine Drive, Ernakulam. Mr.Pullela Nagaswara Rao IRS, Chief Commissioner of Central Excise,Customs and Service Tax,Kerala inaugurated the Seminar. Mr.Sachin Menon, Co-Chair,GST- FICCI ,Partner and Head (Indirect Taxes)-KPMG led the morning session on Manufacturing. The afternoon sessions were held by Mr.Akhilesh Singh, GST Expert and others. The objective of the programme was to update the IT community on the recent changes that has been proposed in GST rules recently released by the Union Ministry of Finance. The session was an opportunity for the Participants to clarify with the Speakers their queries on the subject and how GST could impact on the various sectors of Kerala.
