World Trade Center Kochi organized a CXOs’ dinner meet at the Four Points by Sheraton which had Mr. N.R. Anantharamakrishnan, Principal Consultant, RAK Analytics Bangalore as the key speaker. This programme, done together with GTech and Skill2Pro, was attended by senior officials from prominent IT companies, consultants, students etc. Mr. N.R. Anantharamakrishnan listed out the recent trends in technology – Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, Deep learning with neural networks, Virtual reality, Augmented reality, Robotic Process, Block chain, Cloud computing, etc. He predicted that RPA will affect the lives of 250 million people by the year 2025. He added that soon each company would need to hire a Business Analyst. He illustrated probots, knowbots and chatbots and explained their functions. The use cases of RPA including – Web scraping, screen scraping, recording macros, data extraction from browsers, replace paperwork, doing away with repeated and mundane tasks were also discussed.   Mr. Kannan, RAK Analytics, gave a live demo of the popular UiPath RPA tool. Other tools include – Blue prism, Automation Anywhere, Pega etc. Using UiPath, he demonstrated how data from a particular e-commerce was compiled to compare products based on their price, popularity etc. He also derived various correlations between these factors. Mr Deepu Zacharia, CEO, RCG Global Services India & Executive Member, GTECH , Mr Johnson Leon, Executive Director, Skill2Pro and Mr. Vivek George, Manager, WTC Kochi also spoke at the programme.
