The World Trade Center organized a webinar on the 'Impact of US Tariffs on India', in association with knowledge partner Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys (LKS) and supporting partner Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES).

The session featured domain experts Mr. Devinder Bagia and Ms. Disha Jain, partners at LKS, who delivered an insightful presentation covering:

• The tariff actions introduced by the Trump administration
• Reciprocal tariffs and China’s retaliatory measures
• Tariff arbitrage and the emerging opportunities for India
• Strategic perspectives on how Indian exporters can navigate and benefit from the evolving global trade environment

 

The webinar saw active participation from attendees across industries and was very well received by the audience.

Mr. K. K. Pillai, Chairman, Regional Governing Council, EPCES - SEZ (Karnataka & Kerala) delivered the opening remarks, and Mr. C. U. Poovaiah IRS (Retd), Regional Director of EPCES (Karnataka) gave the closing remarks.
