The World Trade Center Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), successfully hosted the annual Post Budget talk. BDO India LLP was the Knowledge Partner for this event which provided a comprehensive analysis and valuable insights into the Union Budget 2024 – 25.

The event commenced with  Mr. Israr Ahmed, Vice President of FIEO New Delhi, who provided a Context Setting for the discussions, emphasizing the budget's relevance to export-oriented industries and economic strategies.

This was followed by a thought-provoking Keynote Address by Mr. Homi P. Ranina, a distinguished Tax Expert and Senior Lawyer at the Supreme Court of India. Mr. Ranina's address highlighted key fiscal policies and their potential impact on businesses and taxpayers across the country.

The session continued with enlightening presentations from industry leaders:

• Mr. Aakash Uppal, Partner & Leader (North), Corporate Tax, Tax And Regulatory Services, BDO India LLP, shared expert insights on corporate tax reforms and regulatory implications.
• Mr. Karthik Mani, Partner, BDO India LLP, contributed his expertise on strategic tax planning and compliance strategies in the post-budget scenario.
